The Pickleverse began when JJ Knight (Deanna Roy) was writing with author friends and they all helped her come up with other words for male anatomy.

We might have had a few margaritas.

But when someone said PICKLE -- Deanna had an aha moment like never before. She would write a pickle book, and to make it extra fun, the three brothers who would star in them would own a chain of delis known for their flavored pickles.

Tee hee. Flavored pickles.

It worked. Big Pickle was an instant Amazon Top 100 bestselling romantic comedy, and as each one came out, she added more Top 100 and Kindle All Stars to the Pickleverse.
